Emergency Fund

The Emergency Fund enables documentary photographers to investigate social justice stories and produce in-depth projects by providing grants, editorial guidance, technical assistance, and distribution facilitation.

ABOUT
The Emergency Fund supports experienced and emerging photographers with a commitment to documenting social issues, working long-term, and engaging with an issue over time. Projects address critical global issues that have not received the attention they deserve, or budding crises that are still over the horizon.

Each year, a diverse group of photography professionals around the globe nominate photographers to submit proposals for independent long-term projects and an independent Editorial Board selects the grant recipients who demonstrate commitment to the issue and a clear vision for a creative narrative.
