Common Ground: Artists in the Everglades

Common Ground: Artists in the Everglades opens today, September 19, at the Schmidt Center Gallery at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and will run through November 5. In conjunction with the exhibition is a panel discussion on Thursday, October 16 featuring 2013 Emergency Fund Grantee Adam Nadel and moderated by FAU Department of Sociology’s associate professor Patricia Widener. 

The show presents select artists who’ve participated in the Artists in Residence in Everglades (AIRIE), a unique, month-long residency program on the ground of the Everglades National Park - our nation’s most environmentally endangered eco-system. .
