The MFA in Transdisciplinary Design at Parsons, the New School for Design (TransDesign) encourages a new generation of designers to address pressing social issues using new ideas, tools, and methods. Students work in cross-disciplinary teams to confront social and environmental issues that trancend single disciplines and create systematic change.
Photography, Expanded is designed to inspire documentary photographers to expand their storytelling beyond the still image. Through intensive workshops and panel discussions, photographers learn about emerging digital tools and methods to engage audiences across platforms and mobilize communities around social justice issues.
