Magnum Foundation is pleased to announce the 2018 grantees of the Magnum Foundation Fund, a program that supports photographers to expand creativity and diversity in the field. In collaboration with the Prince Claus Fund, the Magnum Foundation Fund provides grants and project development support to both emerging and experienced practitioners, with an emphasis on photographers working within their communities.

Announcing the 2018 Photography and Social Justice Fellows

Magnum Foundation is pleased to announce the 2018 Photography and Social Justice Fellows, ten emerging and early career photographers, artists, journalists, and activists who are passionate about challenging injustice, pursuing social equality, and advancing human rights through photography. Selected from over 600 applicants, they join 29 other young image-makers from 19 different countries that have been trained through this program since 2010 to be effective storytellers, creative leaders, and changemakers.

Projects Developed at the Counter-Histories Lab

Arab Documentary Photography Program Grantees Gather in Beirut

In early April, grantees and mentors of the Arab Documentary Photography Program (ADPP) gathered together in Beirut for their second workshop of the program. In a series of editing sessions, group critiques, and one-to-one meetings with their program mentors and advisors, grantees propelled their projects forward and planned next steps for completing or embarking on another phase of work.
