Soumya Sankar Bose intends to document the Marichjhapi Massacre, a genocide in 1979 where thousands of Bangladeshi refugees were killed by the Communist movement in west Bengal. He will be staging reenactments of the massacre in the photographs. He wants to create a website where information, archives, documents, photographs and videos can be accessed as well as display the photographs publically through projection.
