Building Dignified Worlds brings together five photographers and grassroots organizations to document approaches to housing and property which reject privatization and gentrification, bringing to light the many ways communities across Latin America are building dignified alternatives. The exhibition is a record of collective strength and an open invitation: to learn from these initiatives and to imagine futures where solidarity, dignity, and justice guide how we inhabit the places we call home. The exhibition was developed by the Magnum Foundation, FICA, and the DESIS Lab at The New School.
