About the show
In “A Tapestry of Aliveness,” a group of fellows come together in an exercise of collaborative co-curation, weaving their individual images together into a tapestry of New York City that expresses the ongoing acts of living, collectivism, and agency of communities that are often pushed to its margins. With work about migration, sanctuary, chosen family, and belonging, they center tenderness and care in their approaches to imagemaking, and honor the places we find home.
