I'm Carlo Gabuco, I am a visual artist covering the "Drug-War" in the Philippines since its early days back in July of 2016. Currently im working on a long-term project under the @magnumfoundation grant on the effects of this war on the families especially the children affected by these killings. I will be taking over this account for the next week. - 29.12.2016 Mandaluyong City: Cecil 18, carrying the photo of her mother Liwayway Yabut on a funeral procession going to the cemetery in Mandaluyong City. Liwayway was shot in the back of the head by unknown gunmen wearing masks while having dinner in-front of a convenient store in Mandaluyong. According to witnesses and people who knew her, she was a cigarette vendor in the area, in sleeps in front of a bank. 3 days after her death her brother-in-law was also shot 10 times and was killed in the place where her wake is being held. © @carlogabuco #magnumfoundation #everydayejk #stopthekillings #humanrights #funeral #poverty
