Sim Chi Yin, 2010 Human Rights Scholar, featured in NY Times Magazine

After graduating from the Human Rights program in 2010, Sim Chi Yin became a stringer for the New York Times in Beijing, China. Her story on the ‘Mouse People’ of Beijing was featured on New York Times Maga- zine. ‘Mouse People’ refers to the millions of migrant workers who rent rooms in the fallout shelters under Beijing.
