A message to our community

As we face the current global crisis, we are reminded of how essential it is to see the world through multiple lenses, to begin to grasp the shared as well as unequal impacts of the pandemic.

For the Magnum Foundation team, serving our community—the passionately committed photographers who are creating a critical visual record of our time—remains our focus. Our core programs supporting socially engaged visual reporting remain in place, and we are also pivoting to ensure coverage of the crisis from more diverse perspectives with new platforms for visibility.

As we all face this extraordinary new challenge, we are grateful for you, our extended family of photographers, activists, journalists, artists, engaged thinkers and innovative makers. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and strong as we confront together this unpredictable time.
