Ninth Cycle of the Arab Documentary Photography Program Convenes in Beirut

The ninth cycle of the Arab Documentary Photography Program (ADPP) got off to a great start last week! The cohort of twelve outstanding photographers worked with mentors Eric Gottesman, Tanya Habjouqa, Elsie Haddad, Randa Shaath, Abdo Shanan, and Peter van Agtmael to initiate their months-long project explorations. Both Elsie and Abdo are previous participants in the program who return to the program as mentors for this cycle.

Alongside the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture and the Prince Claus Fund, we are honored to work with this incredible group of photographers as part of our joint initiative to support creative production by imagemakers in the Arab region.

Stay tuned for more updates on this year’s program, and congratulations to all the participants!
