SIM CHI YIN, OUT IN THE COLD FEATURED ON VII

2010 Human Rights Fellow, Sim Chi Yin, was featured in VII online gallery. Her photo essay is about the thousands of Chinese petitioners who travel to Beijing to appeal to central government. “They come-armed with little more than plastic bags of handwritten documents-trying to get compensation for illegal land seizures, unpaid pensions or wages, unfair dismissal from work or unsolved lawsuits.”
