2011 HR Fellow Manca Juvan to publish English edition of her new book!

MANCA JUVAN TO PUBLISH ENGLISH ED. OF AFGHANISTAN: UNORDINARY LIVES AND FEATURED ON PANEL DISCUSSION IN WASHINGTON

Manca Juvan, 2011 HR Fellow, will publish the English edition of her book “Afghanistan: Unordinary Lives” this month. The book will be published by Sanje Publishing House with support from International Relief & Development (IRD). 

On Wednesday February 15th, Juvan will be featured in a panel discussion on the importance of sustained international civilian engagement in Afghanistan titled “Afghanistan: Moving Forward.” The discussion will take place at Slovenia’s Embassy in Washington D.C. from 4:30-6pm. If you can make it, please RSVP at rsvp@ird-dc.org by Friday.  The discussion is hosted by IRD and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and will feature a distinguished panel of Afghanistan experts, policymakers, and practitioners.
